Product Warranty

**Electric Bike 12 Mo​nths Manufacturing Defects Warranty Policy**

This limited warranty is given to the original purchaser ("Purchaser") of the electric bike ("Product") from MeV ltd ("Company") and covers manufacturing defects for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Under this warranty policy, the Company will repair or replace any component that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship during normal use. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use, accident, abuse, neglect, or normal wear and tear.

To claim under this warranty, the Purchaser must:

1. Contact MeV ltd Customer Service to identify and diagnose the fault. In a lot of instances fault can be easily fixed without the need to have your bike off the road. however if the fault is serious and needs attention in the workshop:

2. The customer service team will provide a Product  return authorisation number

3. Please then Return the defective product to MeV ltd with the Return Authorisation Document

4. The Purchaser must pay for the shipping costs to return the product to MeV ltd.  Any reasonable return shipping cost will be reimbursed if the product is found to be faulty.

Upon receipt, MeV ltd will inspect the product and determine whether it was defective. The company will provide details of what was found on inspection of the defect. 

If it is determined that the defect was caused by a manufacturing defect, MeV ltd will, at its option, repair or replace the defective product or its parts, free of charge.

If repairs are required under this warranty, MeV ltd will complete repairs and return the bike at no charge to the Purchaser; the warranty will remain in effect for the remainder of the original warranty period.


This warranty is only valid if the bike has been regularly serviced in line with the manufacturer's recommendations.

This warranty is the only express warranty given to the Purchaser, and any implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the term of this warranty.

This warranty gives the Purchaser specific legal rights, and the Purchaser may also have other rights that vary from state to state, or country to country.

In no event will MeV ltd be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the product, 

even if it has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

MeV ltd reserves the right to make the final decision regarding the warranty coverage.

This warranty is valid only in the country where the bike was purchased.

MeV ltd will repair or replace any parts within a reasonable turnaround time. 

The turnaround time depends on stock availability and repair time. MeV ltd does not offer any compensation for any delays that may arise.

This warranty policy supersedes all other warranties, agreements or understandings, either written or verbal, relating to the product. Any disputes arising under this warranty policy are subject to the laws of the country in which the bike was purchased.

By using this product, the Purchaser acknowledges having read and understood this warranty policy and agrees to be bound by its terms and conditions​.

Product return


Conditional Product Return Policy for Electric Bike

Your bike is built to order, in line with the specification you selected.   MeV ltd will, if notified within 14 days of delivery replace, or refund payment, if the bike is faulty or not as described.  

In the event of a change of mind by the customer, MeV will offer a refund in full less the costs of building your chosen bike including  cost of materials consumed,cost of restocking and assembly labour. This is typically 50% of the purchase price depending on the model.

Hence by ordering your bike you acknowledge and agree with our returns policy governing no reason or change of mind requests for refund.


To qualify for a return, the product must be in new and resalable condition, and you must provide proof of purchase. This includes the original packaging, manuals, accessories, and any other components that were included with the product.


If you determine that your electric bike is defective within 2 weeks of purchase, please contact MeV Ltd by email. Our technicians will help you to troubleshoot the issue to determine if it can be resolved through simple steps such as resetting the bike. (or similar as would normally be expected during ownership of the product)

If we are unable to resolve the issue through troubleshooting, our team will provide you with a return authorization number and further instructions for returning the product. Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer. Once we receive the returned product, we will conduct an inspection to validate the claim.

If the product is deemed defective upon inspection, you will have the option to receive a replacement or a full refund, including reasonable shipping costs. Please note that refunds may take several business days to process by your financial institution.

If the product is found to be in working condition or has damage caused by improper use, we reserve the right to deny the return claim. In this case, you will be responsible for the shipping costs for returning the product to you and any costs incurred by MeV Ltd.

Complaints


If you wish to make a complaint about you dealings with MeV Ltd, whilst we will be  disappointed we do urge you to contact us so we can amicably resolve any issue you may have with us, your feedback will help us improve.

We take customer Service and Satisfaction very seriously and will do our best to meet customers expectations, conversely we have expectations on customers to act in an a fair manner: prompt payment of invoices goes a long way keeping us solvent and we do not hesitate in pursuing bad debts or the non return of loan items. false reporting of faults is another issue that we deal with, we are in the area of experts electric bikes so we easily identify when a bike has been abused and a customer is trying to pass blame on to us. Investigation into false claims has a cost which is invoiced for recovery.
